PRESSURE

Line weight isn’t fixed. It responds to your hand. Apply light pressure for thin, controlled strokes. Increase pressure to create bold, expressive lines. This variation is what gives manga its depth, movement, and emotion. Start here. Everything builds from how you control a single line.

VARIATION

Each nib behaves differently. That’s the point. Flexible nibs shift dramatically with pressure. Harder nibs stay consistent and controlled. Fine nibs focus on precision and detail. Switching between them isn’t optional. It’s how you separate characters, backgrounds, and details without confusion.

CONTROL
