I was trying to figure out how to open and close the blade. It barely touched my finger and gave it a little nick. No blood or anything, but boy be careful. It cut paper just fine!

This is like the first seal paste that I got with my tenkoku carving set. It's not as dark a colour as other seal pastes (which usually sell for much more) but it's good for practice for shodō (Japanese calligraphy) or sumi-é.

I've been looking for a deep red (cinnabar) seal paste for my shodō (Japanese calligraphy) works. I overlooked this because it was in a tin. Turns out the tin keeps it really fresh! I don't think this is the deepest red (I will keep looking) but it is far better than the inexpensive seal paste that I've been using. I hope you continue to carry this particular brand.
