We’ve simplified the process of shopping for art supplies by hand-picking select art materials tailored to each discipline in the form of starter kits. Our kits are formulated uniquely from one another and categorized into three tiers (Basic, Standard, Complete) per discipline.

Basic Kit

An ensemble of the essentials needed to get started, perfect for those wishing to try out and get a feel of a specific medium! This set features a wide range of colours, paintbrushes and a medium sized watercolour paper pad making it a substantial introductory kit.

A round brush washer fitted with spikes to deep clean paint build up within the heel of your brush. A brush washer like this is essential for oil paints which can be stubborn to clean off brushes and get trapped within the heel and ferrule of your brush.

A rectangular palette fitted with deep round wells to house paint and slanted wells to mix colours.

3. Comet - Set Of 6 Mixed Golden Synthetic Short Handle Brushes

Our Comet series is perfect for watercolor, ink tempera, gouache and acrylic. Used by the arts industry to the aerospace industry, you can count on its Taklon hair for increased durability and reliability. This brush series is the go-to for fine work. The durable hair will not shed while doing delicate work, and with sizes available down to 20/0, this brush allows for an incredible execution of detailed work. Boasting hair filaments that are soft, plump, and flexible, they are a worthy synthetic sable hair dupe that mimics the absorbency with just the right amount of springiness for a variety of applications.

An H pencil is light enough to use when sketching under transparent watercolour washes and delicate enough to erase without leaving traces.

8. Kneadable Eraser

Kneadable erasers are delicate enough to eraser graphite sketch marks without damaging the paper or lifting watercolour paint. They can be molded to eraser fine details or large areas.

This stackable set with a handle can be used separate or attached to one another. A set like this is perfect for oil painting where you may be working with mineral spirits, drying oils and mediums simultaneously. These basins may also function as cleaning stations during and after painting.

Standard Kit

This compact metal palette is fitted with several shallow wells for housing paint and flat planes to mix colours. It folds in on itself for ease of transport and can be DIY’d to house solid colours in its wells. It is equipped with a thumb-hole plate and brush slots.

A large-format container for cleaning your brushes. This system is fitted with two removable demi-circle basins, a round well palette, a lid and a carrying handle that doubles as brush holder. The removable parts allow for an easy cleanup.

The two inner basins can serve multiple purposes such as having one basin with dirty paint water and the other with clean water. Separation of certain colours, light and dark tones may also be a possibility with this brush washing system.

A synthetic hair brush with a built in reservoir to contain water or paint mixes. This tool works well in combination with watercolour pencils as water is released when the reservoir is pressed. It comes with a cap to keep the water or paint held in this reservoir from drying out.
